It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Marie Cain of Chariton, Iowa, born in Camden, Michigan, who passed away on March 25, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Victor Parson and Marie Parson (Bowles); her brother Danny Parson; her in-laws, Arthur and Corrine Cain; and her granddaughter Madahlynn Polo.

She is survived by : her former life partner James Polo; her son Dave; her husband Curtis Cain; her children, Cindy Polo of Russell, Kelly Polo-Braaksma of Chariton and Wrandy Polo (Lauri) of Chariton; her grandchildren, Dusty Dawson (Kristy), Ashley Dawson, Jevon Polo (Kim), Lindsey Braaksma, Holly McFall (Lee), Sam Polo, Seth Polo, Cobain, Soulan, Irelan, Cambree and Taven Polo; and her sisters, Pat Waugh, Barb Anderson (Babe) and Judy Harper.
