He was predeceased by: his parents, Inez Kline (Shehan) and Ellsworth Kline Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Kline; his children, Brian Kline and Sheri Dye (Guy); his grandchildren, Danielle Swainey, Gage Dye (Piper) and Alyson Dye; his great grandchildren, Carter, Ella, Harper and George; and his siblings, George Kline (Rose Marie), Charlotte Sloan (Rick), Doug (Colette Swarthout) and Cyndi Wilkinson. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lucas County Health Center Foundation or to the Chariton Volunteer Fire Department.
