We are sad to announce that, on October 4, 2025, Lloyd Glen Major of Chariton, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Major and Honor Hazel Major (Estlack); his wife Helen Walsh; his daughter Jennifer; and his siblings, Yvonne, Eula, LeRoy and Paul.

He is survived by: his children, Lisa Major Beeman (Scott) of Ankeny, David Major (Tammy) of Des Moines, Dan Major of Chariton, Todd Major of Elkhart and Heidi Major Sleister (Darren) of Ankeny; his grandchildren, Amanda Major, Nick Major (Emily), Raven Wanicki (Brad), Colton Sleister (Lily), Ryan Sleister and Jonathan Major Beeman; and his great grandchildren, Mercedes Lane, Liam Bradley and Brayden Wanicki. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
