She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Shanks and Opal Shanks (Anderson); her son William N. Briner; her granddaughter Rhiannon Lutts; her great grandchild Tommy Lewis; and her brothers, Walter, Ralph, Bob, Ed, John, Donnie, Gail, Larry and Freddie Shanks.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Briner (Vienna) of Chariton, Nancy Flinn (Brian) of Slater, Linda Briner-Klee (Doug) of Mendon, MO and Connie Goben (Matt) of Lucas; and her sister Juanita Owens of Weldon. She is also survived by four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren, lots of nieces and nephews.
She retired in 2020 at the age of 85 due to the Covid outbreak.
