She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Douglas Bengtson; her daughters, Tiffany Bengtson and Alyssa Gallup (Thomas Gallup); her grandchildren, Morgan Bilharz, Madelyn Calzadillas (Daniel Calzadillas), Marissa Gallup, McCoy Bilharz (Kelsey Bilharz) and Carson Gallup; her great grandchildren, Oliver Buseman and Case Bilharz; her parents, Howard Andersen and Irene Andersen; her in-laws, Roger and Shirley Bengtson; her nephew Nate Metschke; and her sister-in-law Karen Spilde.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 4:30 PM, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (106 Chapel Ln, Charles City, IA 50616).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Nashua Plainfield Community School District Music Department.
