She was predeceased by: her parents, James Jergensen and Anna Jergensen (Pehl); her granddaughters, Kendall Locke and Mary Rasmussen; and her sister Janice Rose.

She is survived by: her husband Ron Rasmussen; her children, Julie Rasmussen (LeAnn) of Delaware, Jim Rasmussen (Beth) of Ankeny and Joan Locke (Corey) of Oregon; her grandchildren, Rachel Locke (Luis), Joe Rasmussen (Sarah), Jake Rasmussen (Molly), Erik Rasmussen (Audra), Nathan Locke (Haley), Jack Rasmussen (Anna) and Melanie Wine (Andrew); and her great grandchildren, Beckett Rasmussen, Isabelle Giron Locke, Hunter Rasmussen, Josie Rasmussen, Peter Rasmussen, Charlie Rasmussen and Benjamin Giron Locke.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be sent to St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church.
