He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley F. Barrett and Vyrlee J. Barrett (Nuchols). He is survived by: his wife Sarah Goen Barrett of Mary's Catholic Church; his children, Andrew Barrett (Shelane) of Chattanooga, TN, Molly Barrett (Dan Gannon) of Saint Paul, MN and Shannon Barrett of Boston, MA; and his grandchildren, Mac, Fiona, Harley Barrett, Declan, Cormac, Kade and Ruarc Gannon.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (106 Chapel Ln, Charles City, IA 50616). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Elks Lodge (2111 Clark St, Charles City, IA 50616).
