He was predeceased by: his wife Georgianna Merrill; and his siblings, Betty J. Breuning, Marie Koehler and Harlan Lutz. He is survived by: his daughter Theresa Deetz (Doug); his grandchildren, Rick Deetz (Shannon), Tiffany Deetz (Kane Miller), Emily Rust (Matt) and Caleb Deetz (Bella); and his great grandchildren, Porter, Maisie Miller, Henry, Nash Deetz, Trevor, Carter Rust and Lowen Deetz.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society in David's honor.
