Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Dolores Markle of Charles City, Iowa, born in Lawler, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 95, on April 28, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, Myron Zipse and Myrtle Zipse (Slick); her husbands, Ervin Boerschel and David Markle; and her sister Ardella Morrison.

She is survived by : her close friend Vern Wikner; her sons, Bruce Boerschel (Viva) of Charles City and Bryan Boerschel of Alexandria, Minnesota; her grandson Bobby Boerschel (Erin) of Lakeville; her great grandchildren, Derek and Caleb Boerschel; her granddaughter Becky Boerschel of Charles City; her great grandchildren, Kinleigh and Kielyn Bahe; and her brother Harry Zipse (Vivian) of New Hampton.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (105 Chapel Ln, Charles City, IA 50616).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First Baptist Church.
