He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Linde and Pearl Linde (Bighley); his son Joshua Linde; his siblings, Jerry Linde and Ella Rickman (Rickman); his grandson Dominic Linde; and his stepson Brock Monson.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Reetz; his children, Dan Linde (Sherry) of Charles City, Tim Linde (Sheryl) of Chehalis, Dawn Gelhausen (Dave) of Oelwein, Matt Linde of Rockford, Mike Linde (Dawn) of Altoona and Jon Linde (Tamara Kelleher) of Charles City; his stepdaughter Anna Butinski of Rockford; and his former wife Marrian Linde of Charles City. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; 20 step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Charles City VFW (1505 N Grand Ave, Charles City, IA 50616).
