Harold Begemann Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Harold Begemann of Charles City, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Christoph Begemann and Erma Begemann (Stock); his wife Shirley; his great grandchild Blake Lundberg; and his sister Marian Hoeft (Wayne).

He is survived by: his sons, Craig Begemann (Julie) of Charles City and Denny Begemann (Kim) of Charles City; his grandchildren, Lindsey Begemann, Alexandra Kerber (Chris), Lauren Lundberg (Caleb) and Ryan Begemann; his stepgrandchildren, Chelsy Fenneman and Cole Chambers; and his great grandchildren, Carson Mullenbach, Madison Mullenbach, Evan Kerber, Drew Kerber, Kenzie Lundberg and Brecklyn Lundberg.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint John Evangelical Lutheran Church (200 S Main St, Charles City, IA 50616). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be given to Saint John Evangelical Church.
