He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Budwig and Katherine "Katie" Budwig (Smith); his wife Judy; his brother Herbert Jr.; and his nieces, Holly and Lisa.
He is survived by: his children, Katie Kelly (Aaron) and Jacob Budwig; and his grandchildren, Avery and Clay. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to the family or that donations be made in his honor to the Colwell Fire Department and First Responders.
