He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald DeBoest and Dorothy DeBoest (Glienke); his sister Cheryl Stock; his brother-in-law Merlin Stock; and his nephew Brad Stock.
He is survived by: his children, Matthew DeBoest (Heather) and Trena Cox (Nick Weipert); his grandchildren, Garred Cox, Dawson Cox (Emma), Trent Cox, Donald James "DJ" DeBoest and Rylee DeBoest; and his nephews, Colin Stock (Stephanie), Robert Stock and Ryan Stock (Cindy).
