She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Mitchell and Loretta Mitchell (Drew); her son Thomas Eugene Brown; her husband Harley Eugene Brown of Charles City, Iowa.; and her brothers, Michael Mitchell and Merle Mitchell.
She is survived by: her daughter Jean Ann Brown (Doug) of Charles City; her sister Mary Dvorak; her daughter-in-law Glenda Hesse (Brown) of Fairbank, Iowa; her grandson Eric Kamm (Kate) of Pella; her great grandchildren, Evan and Claire; her grandchild Kalen Kamm; her great grandchildren, Lucas Harley and Kole Thomas of Norwalk, Iowa; her grandchildren, Jodi (Brown) and Pat Geerts of Waterloo; her great grandchildren, Noah, Blake and Austin; her grandson Chad Brown (Jessie) of Fairbank; her great grandchildren, Griffin, Thomas and Hadley; her grandson Matthew Brown (Mandy) of Dysart; and her great grandchildren, Bailey and Peyton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 4:30 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home (1205 S Main St, Charles City, IA 50616). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (106 Chapel Ln, Charles City, IA 50616).
