It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Thome of Charles City, Iowa, who passed away on April 21, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Becky; his children, Chris (Terri) of Parkersburg and Janet Conrad (Nate) of Washington; his grandchildren, Elise, Brett, Claire Thome, Makenna and Drew Conrad; his siblings, Diane Larsen, Barb Erickson (Dan), Dave Thome (Kathy), Cheryl Chambers (David) and Gary Thome; his parents, Clarence Thome and Joann Thome (Julius); his brother-in-law Eddie Begley; and his niece Nicole McInroy. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
