He was predeceased by : his parents, Lloyal Abbott and Darlene (Havenhill) Roeder; his parents-in-law, Gordon and Mabel Stewart; and his friends, Perry and Codean Howell.
He is survived by : his wife Kelly Stewart Abbott; his sons, Derek Abbott (Bridgette) and Adam Abbott (Dana Baker); his grandchildren, Ben Naumann, Loralei Abbott, Liam Abbott, Caden Baker, William Baker and Izabella Baker; his aunt Betty Lou Orric; his siblings, Connie Bass (Mike) of Twentynine Palms, Kelley Maskeri (Chris) of Charlotte, Ed Abbott (Reiko) of Charles City and Duane Abbott (Diane) of New Hampton; and his pet Bob.
