He is survived by: his son Lon Turner (Loretta) of Souris; his grandchildren, Hayden, Jenna and Chelsea; his sister Kathy Shawhan of Charles City; his niece Jessie Shawhan (Chuck Faux) of Des Moines; and his great-nephew Joseph Ginther (Carlee).
