Thomas Gonyo Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Gonyo (Charles City, Iowa), who passed away on October 12, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandfather Grant Gonyo; his parents, Grant Gonyo and Mary Gonyo (Mitchell); and his sister Connie Fossler. He is survived by: his wife Sue Gonyo; his daughter Amy Karpouzian (Daniel); his grandchildren, Gabriel, Grant and Juliette; and his brothers, Allan Gonyo (Carol) and Stephan Gonyo (Midge). He is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gospel Lighthouse Church (201 Madison St, Floyd, IA 50435). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
