He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Schilling and Anna Schilling (Miller); his wife Donna Schilling of Paul's Lutheran Church; his parents-in-law, Clarence and Ruth Kock; and his sister-in-law Janice Giglio.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Schilling of Charles City and Julie Kisch (Jeffrey) of Charles City; his brother-in-law Frank Giglio of Florence, Kentucky; and his nieces, Kathryn Nielsen (Robert) of Florence and Cheryl Engel (Chris) of Hebron, Kentucky.
