He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mohr and Esther Mohr (Lawrenz); his wife Shirley Jensen; and his children, Deb, Dawn and Ricky.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, David Smith (Lisa Mann) of Clinton and Andrea Puetz (Kyle) of Charlotte; and his great grandchildren, Arianna, Aubry and Quinn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
