Donna Larson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Larson (Charter Oak, Iowa), born in Castana, Iowa, who passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Leisinger and Nettie "Grace" Leisinger (Riley); her husband Marvin Larson; her son Ronnie Larson; her grandchildren, Stephanie Larson and Michael Kuhlmann; her daughter-in-law Joleen Larson; her siblings, Dorothy Archer, Gladys Phipps, Darlene Wacheldorf, Norma Kohler, Fred Leisinger and Vernon "Pete" Leisinger; and her close friend Elaine Nemitz.
She is survived by: her children, Terri (Barry Kuhlmann) of Good Thunder, Johnny Larson of Soldier and Lisa (Jerry Hicks) of Denison, Iowa; her grandchildren, Amanda Aliperto (Michael), Jordyn Kuhlmann, Dawn Mizner (Andrew), Ryan Larson (Samantha), Pat Hicks (Deana), Heather Hicks (Eugenio Battaglia) and Tyler Larson; her great grandchildren, Julia Aliperto, Abigail Aliperto, Jax Conyers and Sommer Hicks; and her brother-in-law Dean Kohler (Edith) of Paola, Kansas. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the United Methodist Church - Charter Oak (124 Cedar Ave, Charter Oak, IA 51439). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at the St. Clair Cemetery - Ute (20248 IA-141, Ute, IA 51060).
