We are sad to announce that on August 11, 2022, at the age of 92, Dale R. Julius of Cherokee, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Julius and Mable Julius (Ballantyne); his wife Iva Whisler; and his daughter Sandra Thompson. He is survived by : his children, Dennis Julius (Diane) of Storm Lake, Alan Julius (Susan) of Cherokee and Marsha Ruble (Rory) of Waukee, Iowa; and his son-in-law Denny Thompson of Mesquite, Nevada. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Dale's name to the Cherokee Public Library.
