He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Reitsma of Cherokee; his daughter Kimberly Kay Cook (Roger) of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Abigail (Abby) and Reece; his son James Donald Reitsma (Molly McKenna) of Alta; his grandchildren, Colton and Evelyn (Evie); his sisters, Trudy Prochnick of Fairmont and Arlene Frerichs of Lake Park, Iowa; his niece Sharon Helmke of Armstrong, Iowa; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Vreeman (Timothy) of Moorhead, Junel Pulscher (Scott) of St. Michael and Donna Arkema (Bryce) of Pella, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and dear friends.
