It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eleda N. Wester of Cherokee, Iowa, who passed away on December 30, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Reimers and Betty Reimers (Hanson); her husband Merle Duane Wester; her daughter Sara Ruth; her sisters, Elvera (Eldon Larson) and Elsie (Roy Wester); and her grandson Paul Daniel Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Wester (Ann) of Paullina, David Wester (Julie) of Paullina, Steven Wester (Fayette) of Tempe, Arizona and Paul Wester (Becky) of Primghar, Iowa; her grandchildren, Amy Douglas (Joshua), Matthew Wester (Carrie), Lydia Foo (Ryan), Trent Wester (Kelley), Aaron Georgen-Wester (Michael), Wendy Salisbury (Eric), Mark Wester (Melinda), Kari Stika (Cody), Andrew Wester (Anneliese), Seth Wester (Monica), Sara VanZee (Micah), Leta Faust (Marcus) and Daniel Wester; her great grandchildren, Jordan, Levi, Ean, Jaxtan, Wyatt, Asher, Phoebe, Keelynn, Kiera, Nolan, Eliza, Charlie, Coy, James, Kambree, Maria, Miles, Kyla and Simon; and her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Kludas (Karl) and Lorraine Mortenson (Robert) of Cherokee, Iowa. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to Oakdale Evangelical Free Church missions account, for women's training in Congo.
