He is survived by: his sons, Bob Ferris (Karen) of Meriden and Bill Ferris of Washta; his grandchildren, Ryan Ferris (Dana) of Indianola and Jessica Kannegieter (Tyler) of Cherokee; his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Leah, Liv, Steele and Beau; his sisters, Peg Wilberding of Albia and Wilma Grauer of Sanborn; and his close friend Margaret Steward of Cherokee.
