It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenda G. Skadeland of Cherokee, Iowa, who passed away on July 15, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Herbert Troxel and Hazel Troxel (Clow); her husband Dale Skadeland; her great grandchild Masyn Johnson; her brothers, William Troxel and Robert Troxel; and her brothers-in-law, Kenneth Skadeland and Larry Fritts.

She is survived by : her children, Cindy Holm of Sioux Falls, Terri Sage (Dave) of Sioux City and Dave Skadeland of Cherokee, Iowa; her granddaughter Angie Johnson (Randy); her great grandchildren, Mercer and Jamasyn; her grandson Andy Holm (Erin); her great grandchild Elliot; her grandchild Jayme Glassmaker (Vincent); her great grandchildren, Bayle, Olivia, Lance, Isabelle, Samantha, Jason Skadeland and Jodi Johnson (Kyle); her sister Judy Grigsby (Marlan) of Denver, Colorado; her sisters-in-law, Nakita Troxel of Socorro, Shirley Skadeland of Cherokee, Norma Skadeland of Cherokee and Jean Fritts of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and also, Willow, Ayden, Jaycee and Aria. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
