She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Rabe and Ida Rabe (Muckler); and her siblings, Arnold Rabe, Waldene Lundell, Paul Rabe and Clarence Rabe.
She is survived by: her husband Clifford "Kip" Nelson of Cherokee, Iowa; and her sibling's children, Lyle Rabe, Mike Rabe (Fritz), Alan Rabe, Verdene Paulsen, Janet Florine, Judy Tiano, Doug Rabe (Mary), Steve Lundell (Denise), Dennis Coombs (Lisa) and Judy Ochrymowycz (Leo). She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; also many more friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Boothby Funeral Home (207 E Main St, Cherokee, IA 51012). A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
