He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Johansen and Shirley Johansen (Leeds); his wife Pat; his sister Georgi Addis; and his siblings-in-law, David Sullivan and Bonnie Sleezer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Amy (David Stimes) and Leah Kieso of Olathe, Kansas; his grandchildren, Rachael Cattin (Joe), Rebecca, Emily, Eliana, Adam Stimes of Rapid City, Sean and AraBella Kneisler of Olathe Kansas; his brother Jon Kipling Johansen (Anne) of Eden Prairie, Minnesota; and his siblings-in-law, Winston Addis of Bellevue, Butch Sleezer of Aurelia, Janet Sullivan of Aurelia and Robert Sleezer (Diane) of Aurelia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Jim's honor to Gideon's International.
