She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Townsend and Elaine Townsend (Giebe); her husband Robert Schroder; her daughter Kathy Pedersen; her sister Joan; her brother-in-law Verlin Peters; her brother Ronald; her siblings-in-law, Velma Townsend, Bonnie Hembd (Jeanne Miller) and Eldon Schroder; and her granddaughter Diana Pedersen-Vance.

She is survived by: her children, Larry Pedersen (Karen) of Weston, FL, Lori Brown (Alan) and Les Pedersen (Linda) of Cleghorn; her grandchild Christian Pedersen; her great grandchildren, Mason and Chevy of Carroll; her grandchildren, Van Pedersen of Denver, CO, Braylon Tindrell, Camilo Young of Des Moines and LeAnn Fleming; her children, Dominic, Derek of Hinton, Landon Pedersen of Meriden and Lacy Hanson (Brooke); her grandchildren, Brennan, Zarie, Zander and Zadyn of Marcus; her child Lindy Schreier (Brad); her grandchildren, Keegan, Kennedy and Karter of Remsen; her sister Linda Dierking (Rod) of Storm Lake; her grandchildren, Jason Dierking (Erika), Kara Pearson (Larry) and Nathan Dierking (Lindsey); and her brother-in-law Bill Schroder (Linda) of Huntsville, AL. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests memorials be directed to St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Cherokee, Iowa in Jeanine's honor.
