Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Boothby Funeral Home (207 E Main St, Cherokee, IA 51012). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's United Methodist Church (531 W Main St, Cherokee, IA 51012).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made in John's honor giving to causes that were especially important to him, The St. Paul's United Methodist Church Next Generation Fund and the Cherokee Education Foundation Endowment Fund.
