He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Steward and Margaret Steward (Unkrur); his siblings, Mike Steward and Marilyn Steward; his siblings-in-law, Leon Chase, Mike Robinson and Denise Steward; his nephew Rodney Robinson; and his close friend Margaret Koerner.
He is survived by: his children, Jamie Steward, Wendy Soule and Cory Steward; and his siblings, Kenny Steward (Donna), Gerri Robinson, Susan Chase, Marc Steward, Danny Steward (Barb) and Pete Steward. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, children and grandchildren; also several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Boothby Funeral Home (207 E Main St, Cherokee, IA 51012). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to them for a future project in Larry's honor.
