It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynn Schwier of Cherokee, Iowa, born in Mount Vernon, South Dakota, who passed away on June 5, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William Schwier and Winnifred Schwier (Heald); his son Scott (Karen Schwier); his wife Donnabeth Bressler; his brothers, Ronald Schwier and Paul Schwier; his parents-in-law, George Bressler and Venice Bressler Miller; his stepfather-in-law Ezra Edward Miller; and his great grandchild Tyler James Ronnei.
He is survived by : his sons, Steven Schwier (Wanda) of Atlantic, Bret Schwier (Cindy) of Elk Point, SD and Craig Schwier of Perryton, TX; and his grandchildren, Alana Brown (Ryan), Seth Schwier (Kassidi), Jaime Frahm (Brock), Matthew Schwier, Timothy Schwier (Cassie), Carrie Taylor (John), Paul Schwier (Ashley) and Jennifer Buendia (Justin). He is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren, as well as other relatives and friends.
The family requests that memorials be made to either the Trinity Lutheran Building Project or Trinity Lutheran Preschool.
