It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ann Unkrur of Cherokee, Iowa, born in Aurelia, Iowa, who passed away on March 19, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Bjorkgren and Lois Bjorkgren (Hartliep); her husband Ted Unkrur; and her brother-in-law Don Mummert. She is survived by : her nephew Chris Mummert; her daughters, Paulette Daniel (Julius) of Red Oak, IA and Pauline Unkrur of Cherokee, IA; her grandson Joseph of Red Oak, IA; and her sister Ruby Mummert of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
