We are sad to announce that on November 13, 2025, at the age of 92, Richard DEAN Hultman of Cherokee, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Hultman and Leona Hultman (Matson); his former wife Colleen Hanson; his in-laws, Ervin and Virgie Hanson; his brother Gerald; his siblings-in-law, Joyce and Dick Glasson; and his grandsons, Chad, Tyler and Marquel.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sorensen of Aurelia, Iowa.; his children, Ronald Hultman (Gaylene) of Cherokee, IA, Jodi Phipps (Neil) of Cherokee, IA, Cindy Marques (Scott Cummings) of Kingman, AZ and Russ Hultman (Lynn) of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Jamie Sosnowski (Chris), Aaron Hultman (Bobbi), Tricia Avila (Mike), Bryson Marques (Jeanette), Christopher Hultman, Bashawn Snoddy (Elaine), Taylor Phipps (Lindsay), Kelly Lundell (Eric), Brokale Marques, Bryan Hultman (Cassy) and Kyle Hultman; his great grandchildren, Ariah, Symphony, Amonte, Trindon, Carson, Brynn, Meiley, Mira, Adele, Piper, Kinley, Jovie, Beckham, Charlotte, Zion, Turner, Phoenix, Madi, Anthony, Marshal, Madison and Abigail; his brother Roger Hultman (Arleen); and his siblings-in-law, Donna Mortenson (Ron) and John Hanson (Felicia). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Presbyterian Church (127 E Willow St, Cherokee, IA 51012).
