It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert McLaughlin of Cherokee, Iowa, who passed away on March 15, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, William "Bill" McLaughlin and Verna McLaughlin (Mueller); his grandparents, Benard, Ella Mueller, Lawrence and Evelyn McLaughlin; his siblings, Linda McLaughlin and Don McLaughlin; his brother-in-law Bruce Strand; his grandson Michael Wayne McLaughlin; and his parents-in-law, Gerald, AnnaBelle McKenzie and Lewis Guthridge.
He is survived by : his wife Linda McLaughlin of Akron, Iowa; his sons, James McLaughlin (Suyapa) of Lancaster, Heath McLaughlin (Michelle) of San Ramon and Jason McLaughlin of Sioux City, Iowa; his sisters, Marcia Phipps of Thornhill and Sylvia Strand of Cherokee, Iowa; and his mother-in-law Nancy Guthridge of Paullina, Iowa.. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
