Rodney R. Bainbridge Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney R. Bainbridge of Cherokee, Iowa, born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Bainbridge and Mildred Bainbridge (Ferris); his siblings-in-law, Gerald McKenzie, Gordon Carstens, Betty McKenzie and Annabelle McKenzie; his son-in-law Marlin Wielenga; his niece Pamela Carstens; his great grandchild Dylan Schleef; and his sister Beth Mote (Tom) of Branson, Missouri.
He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Jenness of Cherokee, Iowa; his daughters, Jodi Wielenga of Orange City, Kelli Harmon (Harry Brutsman) of Cherokee and Staci Schleef (Mark) of Cherokee, Iowa; his brother Roger Bainbridge (Bonni) of Cherokee, Iowa; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Carstens of Aurelia and Stanley McKenzie (Mary Jo) of Rogers, Arkansas.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the St. Paul's United Methodist Church.
