Shirley Ann Staver Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Ann Staver of Cherokee, Iowa, who passed away on January 27, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father George Haselhoff; her husband Paul Staver of Joseph's Catholic Church; her mother Martha Marie Haselhoff (Proost); her brothers, Armon and Glen Haselhoff; and her close friend Roger Mogensen.

She is survived by: her children, Veronica "Roni" Huerta (Tony) of Omaha, Dori Claycamp (Fred) of Cherokee, Chad Staver (Sara) of Quimby and Jeanna Bittner of Cherokee, Iowa; her grandchildren, Leah Mulligan (Dan), Vincent Huerta, Caleb Claycamp (Sophia), Trey Claycamp (Katlyne), Dena Claycamp, Skyler Staver (Asia) and Edwin Staver; her great grandchild Ren Staver; her siblings, Loleta Staver (Dean) of Wichita and Phylis Lonergan (Jim) of Lincoln, Nebraska; and her grandmother Joan Anderson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials are made to them for a future project in Shirley's honor.
