She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Sanders and LaVonne Sanders; her former husband Fred Koth, Jr.; and her stepsons, Clay Hanson and Jamie Hanson.
She is survived by: her husband Lawrence A. Hanson of Cherokee, IA; her son Jay Koth (Harlie) of Lampe, MO; her stepdaughter Kimberly Carter (Ed) of Winchester, OH; and her siblings, Julie Bangert of Blue Eye, MO, Dale Sanders (Kathy) of Ankeny, IA and Carol Cox of Sutherland, IA. She is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Greenwood Schubert Funeral Home - Cherokee (216 S 2nd St, Cherokee, IA 51012). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
