We are sad to announce that, on January 17, 2026, at the age of 91, William H. Joines of Cherokee, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William H. Joines to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Joines and Enid Joines (Shove); his son-in-law Scott Blades; and his brothers, Robert and Richard Joines.

He is survived by: his children, Steven Joines (Susan) of Woodbury, Michael Joines (Terri), Gregory Joines (Heather) of Redwood Falls and Brenda Blades of Edgemont; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Joines of Seneca and Donna Nelson (Daryl) of Cherokee, Iowa.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Trinity Lutheran Church in Cherokee, Iowa.
