He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Judith Proesch of Lowden; his wife Michele Pruess; his children, Taylor of Clarence, Brody (Alexis) of Wheatland and Karlie (Garrett Billington) of Wyoming, IA; his brothers, Jon (Alicia) of Riverdale, ND and Joby (Kyle) of Lowden; his grandchildren, Brantley, Benson and Bauer Pruess; his in-laws, Harlan and Elaine Pruess; and his father Jay. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. John's United Church of Christ (402 9th Ave, Clarence, IA 52216). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
