She was predeceased by: her parents, John Burmeister and Clara Burmeister (Gade); her husband Harlan Meyer; and her siblings, Bernice, Luella, Illeen, Lloyd and Dale.
She is survived by: her children, Mike (Julie) of Cedar Rapids, Brian (Sandra) of Prairieburg, Linda, Lori Meyer of Cedar Rapids, Pam Spickermann (Mark) of Urbana and Sherry Sander (Tony) of Clarence; her sister Kenneatha Meier of Clarence; and her sisters-in-law, Fannie Burmeister and Betty Ann Miller of Clarence.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. John's United Church of Christ or the Clarence Nursing Home.
