He is survived by: his children, Brooke Nicole Shore (Duane) and Justin Alexander Goode (Cary); his wife Janese McAlpin Wagoner; his brothers, Roger Wagoner (Marcia) and Jan Wagoner (Linda); and his siblings-in-law, Gordon, Joni McAlpin and Kathy McAlpin. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to Villisca Volunteer Fire Department or St. John Lutheran Church.
