He was predeceased by: his parents, George Shaw and Elfrieda "Lee" Hartfield Shaw (Patrick); his grandparents, Dr. Luke, Elfrieda Patrick (Weight), George Jr. and Irene Hartfield (Ivans); his nephew George Hartfield; his great-niece Justice Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Christopher Boeck and Georgia Ann Hartfield.
He is survived by: his siblings, Patrick Hartfield, Docker (Ellen Hartfield), Michelle Hartfield (Robert Woods) and Ardith Shaw Boeck; and his cousins, Anthony, Elfrieda, Melinda Reffuge, Frank and Catherine Belsito. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
