He is survived by : his children, Ricky and Kay; his children-in-law, Gary Smith of Fairfax, MO. and Kathy Briggs of Clarinda, IA.; his grandchildren, Amy Derr of Maryville, MO., Wendi Godwin (Jim) of Smithville, MO., Heidi Maranville (Zach Gutzmer) of Maryville, MO., Matt Briggs (Jen) of Bellevue, NE., Rachel Julo (Steve) of Lee's Summit, MO. and Kim Briggs of Clarinda, IA.; and his siblings-in-law, Verna Sanderfield (Marvin), Dale Moore and Terry Moore (Judy). He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
