He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Sr. Beenken and Clara Beenken (Holm); his wife Dixie Beenken; and his siblings, Russell Beenken, Donald Beenken Jr., Roger Beenken, Marvella "Toadie" Overbeck (Beenken), Delphine Watermiller (Beenken) and Barbra Ohrt (Beenken).
He is survived by: his daughter Brenda Steenhard (Fred) of Clarion, IA; his granddaughter Candice Bradbury (Theadore); his great grandchildren, Frederic Eivins and Edwynn Bradbury of Klemme, IA; his granddaughter Raven Kinnetz of Clarion, IA; and his siblings, Velmie Sobottka (Beenken), Betty Beenken, Catherine Hand (Beenken), Denise Beenken, Donna Dittmer (Beenken) and Rick Beenken.
