He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Lamoureux and Evelyn Lamoureux (Edgar); his former wife Joann Schnetter of Columbkille's Catholic Church; his daughter-in-law Teresa (Wayne); and his siblings, Larry, Janet Lee, Yvonne Higgins (Charles), Betty Zigrang (Denis) and Patty Hammen (Emmett).

He is survived by: his wife Regina McGowan; his children, Rhonda Burnside of Aurelia, IA, Julie Reilly (Mike) of Council Bluffs, IA, Roger (Paula) of Columbia, MO, Stan of Cherokee, IA, Donna Christle of Marysville, WA, Wayne (Marty) of Boone, IA, Craig (Beth) of Storm Lake, IA and Audrey Morrey (Matt) of Boerne, TX; his sister Cheri Connealy (Del); and his siblings-in-law, Linda Lamoureux, Mary Arthur and John McGowan. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
