He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Gardner and Margaret Gardner (Barden); his wife Barbara Grett; and his sister-in-law Margaret Zercher. He is survived by: his sons, Pete Grett (Susan) and Bradley Gardner; his siblings, Julie Butler, Jay Gardner and James Gardner; and his brother-in-law James Zercher. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
