It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Townsend of Clarion, Iowa, born in Tampa, Florida, who passed away on June 14, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David C Townsend Sr. (Mary Wright) and Duane (Ruth Olson). He is survived by: his wife Jane Townsend of Clarion, Iowa; his sons, Michael Townsend (Jenniliee) of Fairmont and Patrick Townsend (Kristina Marshall) of St. Paul, Minnesota.; his sisters, Lynda Townsend Wheeler of Sarasota and Diane Townsend Hoffman of Pensacola, Florida.; and his grandson Clifton James Townsend (CJ) of Fairmont, Minnesota..
