She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Collins and Edna Collins (Knight); her daughter Lisa Adams; her brother Kay Collins; her sister-in-law Mary Collins; her daughter-in-law Theresa Hare; and her brother-in-law Milton Gruber, Sr..

She is survived by: her husband Frank Hare of Clarksville; her children, Lynda Knudsen (Daniel) of Ft. Collins, CO and Lewis Hare of Independence; her son-in-law James Adams of Weldon; her grandchildren, Breanna Hare, Kathleen Gaumer (Dylan), Kenneth Carlson (Hannah), Lewis Adams (Lena) and Jacob Hare; and her siblings, Thomas Collins (Brenda) of Cedar Falls, Terry Collins (Lorry) of Waterloo, Jerry Collins of Waterloo, Marie Gruber of Canada, Kathryne Buehner (Jim) of Waterloo, Helen Lee (Bob) of Fowler, CO and Tina Fenneman (Leland) of Clarksville. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
