He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl L. "Cub" Hoodjer and Gladys Hoodjer (Hinders); his sister Susan Wedeking; and his in-laws, Russell and Burdella Schoneman.

He is survived by : his wife Roxann Hoodjer; his daughter Barbara Hoodjer; his siblings, Carl R. "Bob" Hoodjer (Cindy), Rita Price, Bruce Hoodjer (Cindi), Gloria Hoodjer, Peggy Hoodjer, Brian Hoodjer and Sheila Hoodjer; and his siblings-in-law, Tim Wedeking and Rita Kluiter (Dallas). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
